MarketONE Partner Features
This release includes the following new general Partner features:
Update Subscription
MarketONE supports the following additional capabilities for Service Provider (SP)-driven modifications of MarketONE managed subscriptions:
- Change products in a given subscription
- Support for prorated charges related to product updates in a given subscription
Entitlement updates to the partner side are also supported with changes to the product in a given subscription.
API for Handling Account Termination
MarketONE's Account termination API provides the capability for SPs to terminate a given customer's account, and cancels all related subscriptions along with it. All subscriptions under the account will be canceled either immediately or at the end of the billing cycle, according to the SP level setting.
Also all applicable partner de-provisioning will be triggered for related products to this terminate and cancel action.
Reporting Refactoring
The following business reports have been updated with account type information:
- Sales Trend report
- Top Item reports
- Transactions report
Ecosystem
In this release MarketONE focused on architecture enhancements for standardization, flexibility, and reduced complexity.
Support for Merchant Accept Payment Methods
MarketONE added the "Merchant Accepted Payment" payment method for customers to pay up front for subscriptions purchased from an SP's marketplace. MarketONE manages the status on invoices and updates it based on the responses received from the external payment processor. The subscription status and lifecycle is managed within MarketONE based on the responses.
