Merchants require the proper Card-On-File (COF) indicator for every transaction that stores customer card information in its data vault. To meet this requirement, COF has been implemented for the following processors in this release:

  • Paymentech Stratus
  • Cybersource
  • Orbital:
    • SOAP and Retain API will support CIT/MIT indicators.
    • New COF fields have been added to the Retain SOAP API, and the Retain File structure.
    • REST COF support will be added post this release.

Implementation for Strong Customer Authentication (3DS) - Ingenico Global Collect

3DSv2 (Strong Customer Authentication) support implementation is required to communicate with payment providers. In order to meet this communication requirement, gain SCA certification, and be PSD2 compliant, 3DS has been implemented for Ingenico Global Collect.

Note: Additional information about this feature can be found here.

GMO Offline Processor Integration - Refunds Batch Processing

GMO Batch Interface has been enhanced to also handle Refunds in batch mode. Refunds for Batch transactions will be handled in batch mode, while refunds for online transactions will be handled as previously in realtime mode. In order to implement this, new merchant configuration values are required to define different shop_id for online and batch.

Note: The batch mode is enabled through configuration. For additional information please contact your Customer Success representative.

Bug Fixes

The following bugs were fixed in this release.

Summary Description
Custom Outstanding Credits report shows incorrect credit amount. Outstanding Credit report had a rounding error for credit balance and original credit amount (it was rounded to the nearest dollar). This has been fixed in this release.
Subscribe throws a 500 "Internal Server Error" when subscription updates are performed for the External Billing Payment method. ExternalBilling payment methods do not support authorization, but Subscribe in certain scenarios was attempting to perform an auth. This has been fixed.
Push Notifications presented incorrect structure for transactions which included Mexican tax calculations. Push notifications related to purchases subject to Mexican taxation contained duplicated tax item data. These duplications have been suppressed.
Cybersource autofill fails to correctly send an empty email address. Subscribe added a new option to allow merchants to send empty address fields to Cybersource. Previously, any empty field was autofill due to a Cybersource requirement. In this release we ensured that this applied to both the shipping and the billing address.
Subscriptions status for customers paying with GoCardless UK were not updated correctly. An issue with modifying the status of a subscription from pending authorization to active for the GoCardless payment method has been fixed.
Initial merchant subscription transaction should always succeed. Merchant processing of initial transactions for subscriptions is supported in this release.
