Overview
Onboarding and configuring a communications service provider (CSP) to MarketONE consists in the following steps presented in this diagram. The seven major onboarding steps are then briefly described in the sections below.
Step 1: Creating Partner Organizations
The first step is to create an organization. Organizations are business groups that create partnerships with various over-the-top (OTT) digital providers. Organizations are also associated to the tenant of PLM.
Step 2: Creating Admins
The second step is to create an admin. Admins are individuals associated with organizations that are responsible for creating and maintaining partnerships and agreements on behalf of organizations.
Step 3: Creating Partnership Models
The third step is to create Partnership Models. A partnership model is a template that is used to create an initial agreement between the CSP and the OTT. Only the CSP has the ability to both create and manage partnership models (depending on the product category and the settlement terms). The two contractual models that can be used are Integration and Reseller.
Step 4: Creating Settlement Models
The fourth step is to create Settlement Models. A settlement model is a template that is used in an agreement between the CSP and the OTT. Only the CSP has the ability to both create and manage settlement models (depending on the product category and the type). The two models that can be used are Revenue Share and Cost.
Step 5: Creating Agreements
The fifth step is to create Agreements. An agreement is a contract between the CSP and the OTT that defines the terms of the settlement. Agreements can be created by using a combination of Partnership Models and Settlement Models. Agreements can also be created without using an existing partnership model or an existing settlement model.
Step 6: Creating Settlement Rules
The sixth step is to create Settlement Rules. Settlement rules are created by the CSP to associate OTT products with Agreements. Multiple products can be associated to an agreement by creating settlement rules for each product. These rules are used during the settlement process to calculate the settlement amount for each OTT.
Step 7: Viewing Reports
The seventh step is to view your reports (like the TOP ITEMS REPORT). Reports help CSP business operations and marketing personal check business health in the following ways: sales results and sales across different days and weeks, purchasing details, top selling products and trends, successful products, new and repeat customers, subscriber behavior, cost of OTT products, and other important metrics.
