Overview
Onboarding and configuring an over-the-top (OTT) provider in MarketONE consists in the steps listed in the following sections below.
Onboarding an OTT into MarketONE
Onboarding into MarketONE is a one-time five-step process that enables fast, streamlined integrations with multiple service providers (SPs) at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional third-party integrations.
Step 1. Discovery and Education
After you sign up, our MarketONE product team will reach out to you for initial discussions. You will gain access to our MarketONE product documentation, learning content, along with many helpful use cases. After you provide us with basic information about your organization and product offerings, we will work with you to access and support your business and technical requirements.
Step 2. Technical Access
We will then set up your admin credentials for the MarketONE Developer Console. Once your developers register within our portal, they will gain access to our APIs and generate an API key for MarketONE callbacks. You or your team can then leverage our sandbox environment for testing and experimentation.
Step 3. Design and Develop
You can then author and upload a solution design document with test cases to MarketONE. Once we review and approve your design, your development team can then start to implement work flows based on MarketONE subscription flows and corresponding API specs, with the support from MarketONE product team.
Step 4. Integration and Certification
Once the development work is completed, your team will conduct end to end integration testing with a mock SP for the developed subscription flow, using the previously approved test cases. Upon completion of the integration testing, your organization will get a certification from the MarketONE product team, and your product will be featured in MarketONE's OTT catalogue.
Step 5. Partnering with SPs in MarketONE
You can then negotiate with pre-integrated SPs to create conditions and agreements. Amdocs helps facilitate the partnership model, use cases, and revenue settlement rules in MarketONE. You will make minor updates to your code to point to the real SP and engage in scalable, automated end-to-end testing between you, the SP, and MarketONE in various pre-production and production environments (before going live to market).
Configuring an OTT in MarketONE
Once you onboard into MarketONE you can then use the MarketONE Partnership Admin UI User Guide to help you use the UI to create organizations, admins, and products within MarketONE.
Step 1: Creating Organizations
The first step in setting up an OTT in MarketONE is to create an organization. Organizations are business groups that create partnerships with various digital partners.
Step 2: Creating Admins
The second step is to create an admin. Admins are individuals associated with the organization that are responsible for creating and maintaining the partnerships and agreements on behalf of the organization.
Step 3: Creating Products
The third step is to create a product. Products are entities that are associated to organizations. They define the product entities that are available for monitization.
Step 4: Viewing Reports
The fourth step is to view your reports (like the SALES TREND REPORT). Reports help business operations and marketing personal check business health in the following ways: sales results and sales across different days and weeks, purchasing details, successful products, new and repeat customers, subscriber behavior, top selling products and sales trends, and other important metrics.
