Overview

The scope of MarketONE is focused on being the primary interface for digital partners to integrate with the service provider. Functions that are not part of service provisioning for partner services, payment, and settlements are considered out of scope, although may be provided by other components of the MarketONE solution.

Exclusions

The following is a list of exclusions of MarketONE:

  • The PLM domain is not the Identity Provider (IdP) for either the CSP or the Partner Services. It is assumed that this capability exists in either the User Lifecycle Management (ULM) domain of MarketONE, or another component of the CSP architecture.
  • Subscription management or billing and charging for end users is not part of the scope of the PLM domain. This will be either part of the Subscription Lifecycle Management (SLM) domain of MarketONE or another component of the CSP architecture.
  • The PLM domain does not maintain session or event data at the user level accessing the service. This is either maintained by the partner directly or by the identity and user management solution of CSP.
  • Refunds, suspensions and reconnections of service, while a normal practice for traditional CSP services, are atypical in case of digital partners. This is not part of the core user journeys and experiences provided within MarketONE but based on the partner, the business scenario and the APIs available, maybe considered.
  • MarketONE only supports REST based APIs for integration to partners.
  • MarketONE does not keep track of payments to the partners. It is assumed that the payouts and tracking of outstanding amounts and balances are managed externally within the CSP’s ERP system.
