Overview

It is common to support the consumption of digital services to introduce them with a variety of business models (such as trial periods and freemium offers). MarketONE supports these various models via the MarketONE Subscription Management (SLM) domain.

Supported Capabilities

Product and pricing definitions are maintained in the SLM domain and are flexible enough to have a variety of billing cycles (monthly, weekly, and annually), and also have the ability to define free or trial periods for customers. If a customer chooses to cancel a service during the trial period, they will not be charged for the service.

Recommended Experience

While the SLM domain supports any variety of payment methods and trial periods, it is recommended that to provide a consistent experience, all digital services have the same billing cycle (for example: monthly), and the same duration for the trail period (for example: 7 days). If different digital services are configured with different trail periods, it will yield to a higher amount of calls at the call center and inconsistent experiences.
