# Manage Users
Within **Home** > **Users**, Super Administrators can:
* Create and edit users
* View users
* Delete users
When you create a user, the user receives an activation email. The email contains their username and a link to set their password and log in to Editorial Management Interface (EMI). This link will expire within 2 days.
1. Navigate to **Home** > **Users**.
The **Users** page appears.
2. Select what you'd like to do:
* To add a user, select **Create**.
* To edit a user, scroll to the user and select the edit icon 
for the user.
* To delete a user, scroll to the user and select the delete icon 
for the user.
The confirmation dialog appears. Select **Delete**.
The user has been successfully deleted.
If you choose to create or edit programming, the **Create User** page appears.
3. Complete the required fields. See the table below for more information.
4. Select **Submit**.
You've successfully created or edited the user.

## User Fields
| Field Name | Description Value |
| - | - |
| **Username** | Enter the username. |
| **Email** | Enter the user's email address. |
| **Roles** | Select a role for the user from the dropdown menu:- [Super administrator](EMIUserRoles_r) - [Administrator](EMIUserRoles_r) - [Service provider](EMIUserRoles_r) - [Source provider](EMIUserRoles_r) |
| **Services** (Service provider role only) | Tailor the service provider role by selecting any of the following permissions for themes and pages:- Read - Write - Validate and publish |
| **Populations** (Service provider role only) | Tailor the service provider role by selecting any of the following **Populations** permissions (if populations have been added):- Read - Write - Validate and publish |
| **Sources** (Source provider role only) | Tailor the source provider role by selecting any of the following permissions for internal links and the **Product Catalog**:- Read - Write - Validate and publish |
