# MarketONE API Guide for Resellers (Service Providers) Introduction

This guide introduces the API functionality delivered by MarketONE for Resellers (Service Providers).

An API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of guidelines and protocols that enable different software applications to communicate with each other. The MarketONE APIs allow developers to seamlessly access MarketONE data and interact with the platform.

## Who Is MarketONE For?

MarketONE is for Reseller (Service Provider) and Merchant organizations that want to partner to resell or integrate services.

MarketONE is a suite of capabilities that addresses every aspect of your value-added subscription business, spanning partnership management, commerce, and the end user storefront. The platform offers a range of services specific to Resellers (Service Providers) to help them manage and distribute third-party subscription products and services to their end customers.

The MarketONE APIs provide an integration path into the MarketONE platform, which serves as the implementation point for Merchants who provide the service and Resellers (Service Providers) who resell the Merchant's service(s) through bundling or individual pricing in their storefront. This allows them to work together on a unified platform.

**Note:** There is only one single integration with MarketONE for each Reseller (Service Provider). Any Reseller billing system back-end abstraction that occurs is strictly beyond the scope of MarketONE.

## About This Guide

The purpose of this guide is to provide Resellers (Service Providers) with information about the MarketONE API interfaces intended for their use. These API interfaces are designed to be integrated to the Reseller's environment.

This guide is primarily for technical audiences familiar with the use of RESTful APIs and webhooks.

The APIs primarily referred to in this guide are the [MarketONE OpenAPIs](https://docs.saas.amdocs.com/bundle/MarketONEAPIs/page/index.html) and [MarketONE CSP Adapter OpenAPIs](https://docs.saas.amdocs.com/bundle/MarketONECSPAdapter/page/index.html). This guide is provided as a supplement to those API references and is not intended to replace them. See the original API references to learn the full details of the API calls.

## Deployment Options and APIs

MarketONE's central component, Partner Ecosystem Management, can be deployed with the following components:

* Commerce Engine (and optionally Storefront Gateway). This deployment requires usage of the [Subscription APIs](APIsCalledPlatformManaged_r#section_rvk_2hn_2xb).
* External components for subscription and storefront management. This deployment requires usage of the [Entitlement APIs](APIsCalledPlatformManaged_r#section_zqp_kqj_dxb).

## Getting Started

To start making calls to the MarketONE APIs, you need to generate an API key in Partner Ecosystem Management. For more information, see [Manage Your API Key](apiKeysAggregatorManage_t).
