# Throttling And Response Times

## Reseller (Service Provider) Response Times

* It's expected that a Reseller's (Service Provider's) back-end system is able to support response times of 1.5 seconds for every request being initiated by the MarketONE OpenAPIs.

## MarketONE Platform Response Times

* The average response time to requests from MarketONE OpenAPIs is 1.5 seconds.
* In the case of 5xx errors and some 4xx error responses, we recommended the Reseller (Service Provider) retry up to 3 times.

## Transaction Throughput

* MarketONE will accept no more than 100 API requests in a given second from the Reseller (Service Provider).
* MarketONE reserves the right to throttle Reseller (Service Provider) requests to meet TPS guidelines unless prior arrangements have been made.
