# Platform Interfaces

The Commerce Engine platform provides access to the system and its required data using multiple interfaces.

* [**Commerce Engine API**](api) enables Reseller (Service Provider) integration with Commerce Engine from their online store, customer support, customer self-service, identity management and CRM, and financial and business applications.

* [**Commerce Engine Portal**](portal) provides a Reseller (Service Provider)-friendly, intuitive web-based interface that allows, mainly your Reseller (Service Provider) Business operations staff, to manage and customize your subscription catalog and billing integration in a safe and secure manner as well as access subscription business data and insight.

* [**Push Notifications**](pushNotifications) allow your system to receive and act upon Commerce Engine events as they occur. These webhooks (callbacks) are sent as HTTPS POST calls with a JSON message and are actionable on their own without requiring subsequent API calls.
