# Upload Assets via SFTP

Before you can upload marketing and/or content assets via SFTP, you need to:

1. [Organize the marketing assets](organizeAssetsFolders)
2. [Organize the content posters and metadata](merchantAssetsJSON) (only Merchants with streaming video, audio, or gaming content need to do this)
3. [Configure your SFTP settings](m_SFTPSettingsConfigure)

To upload marketing and/or content assets via SFTP, do the following:

1. Establish an SFTP connection.

   1. Open your SFTP application.
   2. Connect to the SFTP location (that is, the host) via SSH with your username and public key. The SFTP location and your username were provided to you when you configured your SFTP settings.
2. Upload the folder you named after the Reseller to this location: **\<SFTP path>/upload/UIAssets**.

   **Note:** The Reseller-named folder should contain the product group folder, the product folder, and the content metadata folder (if you're a Merchant with streaming video, audio, or gaming content) as outlined in previous steps.

The assets have been successfully uploaded.
