# Performance And Response Times

The following are the expected traffic and performance times when working with the MarketONE APIs:

* It is expected that your back-end system is able to support response times of less than 300ms for every request initiated.
* The MarketONE APIs will make up to 3 retries to connect to the back-end API.
* Based on incoming traffic, the MarketONE APIs have a peak traffic of 500 TPS. The system will accept no more than 500 transactions per second.
