# Manage Activation Reminders

Within **Platform Settings** > **Activation** > **Reminders**, you can:

* Add activation reminder schedules
* Edit activation reminder schedules
* View activation reminder schedules
* Delete activation reminder schedules

Setting up activation reminder schedules helps customers activate their subscriptions, reducing missed activations and supporting revenue retention.

When you create a schedule, Partner Ecosystem Management generates reminders and sends them to your communication system, where you can customize and send them to customers.

When adding a reminder, you can:

* Choose how many days between each reminder (up to 30 days)
* Set how many reminders to send (up to 10)
* Select the time of day to send them
* Decide whether the schedule should restart if the subscription is updated

You can set up either a single schedule that applies to all Merchants or individual schedules for each Merchant.

**Note:** These schedules only apply to products covered by your agreements.

1. Navigate to the **Platform Settings** > **Activation** > **Reminders**.

   The **Activation Reminder Notification Settings** page appears.

2. Choose what you'd like to do:

   * To add an activation reminder schedule, select **Set Up Activation Reminder Notification** or **Add New Reminder**, depending on what's available to you.

     The **Add a New Activation Reminder** page appears.

     Complete the required fields. See the table below for guidance.

     Selected **Save**.

     The activation reminder schedule has been successfully created.

   * To edit an activation reminder schedule, find the activation reminder schedule on the **Activation Reminder Notification Settings** page and select the three dot menu on the same row. Select **Edit**.

     The box to edit the activation reminder schedule appears.

     Edit the fields as desired. See the table below for guidance.

     Select **Save**.

     Your changes to the activation reminder schedule have been saved.

   * To view an activation reminder schedule, find the activation reminder schedule on the **Activation Reminder Notification Settings** page and select the three dot menu on the same row. Select **View**.

   * To delete an activation reminder schedule, find the activation reminder schedule on the **Activation Reminder Notification Settings** page and select the three dot menu on the same row. Select **Delete**.

     A **Delete Activation Reminder** confirmation box appears. Confirm your choice.

     The activation reminder schedule has been successfully deleted.

## Activation Reminder Details

| Field Name | Guidance | Required or Optional |
| - | - | - |
| **Select Merchant** | From the dropdown list, select a Merchant to apply the activation reminder schedule to. Only Merchants you have partnerships with show up in the list. | Required |
| **Interval** | Select the number of days between each activation reminder. You can choose a value between 1 and 30. | Required |
| **Occurrences** | Select the number of activation reminders that can be sent to the customer. You can choose a value between 1 and 10. | Required |
| **Time of Notification** | Select the time of day the activation reminder(s) would be sent. UTC is the time zone. Minutes are automatically set to zero and can't be edited. | Optional |
| **Reset After Subscription Update** | To refresh the general activation reminder schedule settings if a subscription is updated, select **ON**.As an example, consider a scenario where a customer updates the mobile number associated with their subscription. If **Reset After Subscription Update** is **ON**, it resets the reminder schedule to start over again from the beginning to remind the customer to activate the subscription. This setting is **OFF** by default. | Optional |
