# SFTP Settings

Quickly and easily configure your SFTP settings in the **Platform Settings** space. After you configure your SFTP settings and connect with your credentials, you can:

* Register for reports and download them via SFTP or the UI

Configuring your SFTP settings involves providing a public key and an access CIDR. You then receive a username and SFTP location to enter in your SFTP program of choice and connect. This process sets up a location for the reports to be generated once you've registered for a report. For more information, see [Manage Your SFTP Settings](r_SFTPSettingsConfigure).
