# Password Settings

## Password Complexity Rules

Password complexity rules are settings that define how simple or complex the criteria is for a valid end user password. If a user submits a password to a Storefront Gateway Process (for example, Onboard User, Update Password) that does not meet these rules, then the Process will reject it.

Configure the following password settings from **Admin console** > **Authentication** > **Password**.
