# Onboarding and Integration Steps with Storefront Gateway

## Introduction

Storefront Gateway is designed to streamline the integration of essential components required for a fully functional storefront application. Whether it’s user onboarding, authentication, profile management, order capture, subscription management, or catalog access, Storefront Gateway provides secure access to API resources and multi-step processes. User and subscription data are stored in a secure cloud environment.

## Integration Process Overview

**1. Roles and Responsibilities**

Integrating with Storefront Gateway is a collaborative experience involving both the Amdocs product team and your organization. We follow an agile methodology, ensuring a smooth integration process. The specific roles and responsibilities involved in this process are described in detail in the [Roles and Responsibilities section](sfgwProvisioningRolesAndResponsibilities.md).

**2. Data requirements**

Before initiating the integration, we will collaborate closely with your team to gather detailed information about your specific needs and the use cases that need to be supported by Storefront Gateway. This step is critical to ensure that the integration is tailored to your organization’s unique requirements. For more details, refer to the [Data requirements section](sfgwProvisioningDataRequirements.md).

**3. Tenant Provisioning and Configuration**

Once the requirements are clear, we will provision dedicated tenants for your organization in the Storefront Gateway cloud environment. In this step, we will create admin users for you so you can access the Storefront Gateway admin consoles. You or our team can configure your tenants according to your specific needs, ensuring that all necessary settings and parameters are in place before you start development.

**4. Development and API Integration**

With your tenants provisioned and configured, your development team can begin integrating your storefront application with Storefront Gateway APIs. These APIs provide access to the core functionalities of the platform, enabling you to implement user management, commerce operations, and more within your application.

**5. Testing and Deployment in Sandbox Environment**

After development, the next step is to test your integration in the Storefront Gateway sandbox environment. This non-production environment allows you to create applications, run integration tests, and ensure that everything works as expected before moving to production.

**6. Finalization and Production Deployment**

Once testing is successfully completed, the final step is to finalize the integration and deploy your changes to the Storefront Gateway production environment. This will make your integrated storefront application live, allowing your end users to benefit from the seamless experience provided by Storefront Gateway.
