# Agreement Workflow

Agreements go through the following steps in Partner Ecosystem Management to become active:

1. The Reseller (Service Provider) creates a new agreement
2. The Reseller submits the agreement for approval to a Merchant
3. The Merchant approves or rejects the agreement
   1. **Rejected agreement**: The Reseller can edit and re-submit the inactive agreement for approval again
   2. **Approved agreement**: The agreement is active and published
