# Manage Merchant-Initiated Requests

In **Reseller Policies** > **Merchant-Initiated Requests**, you can manage the auto-approval settings for API requests from each Merchant. You can turn auto-approval on or off for Merchant requests to upgrade and downgrade subscriptions.

**Note:** If you choose not to enable auto-approval, you'll need to respond to [validation API requests](https://docs.saas.amdocs.com/bundle/MarketONECSPAdapter/page/index.html#tag/Subscription-update-validation/operation/subscriptionUpdateValidation) from MarketONE whenever there are subscription updates.

1. Navigate to the **Reseller Policies** > **Merchant-Initiated Requests**.

   The **Merchant-Initiated Requests** page appears.

2. To turn the automatic approval service on or off for a specific Merchant's products, find the Merchant in the list, and toggle the switch to the right (on) or left (off).

   The confirmation box appears.

   Confirm your choice.

   The automatic approval service has been successfully turned on or off for the Merchant's product(s).
