# Upload a Charge File

1. Your agreement request must be accepted by the Merchant.
2. Your [SFTP settings must be configured](r_SFTPSettingsConfigure).

Resellers (Service Providers) can efficiently upload charge files for [Platform-managed](g_platformManagedFlow) revenue share settlements. Uploading charge files is necessary to process these settlements.

**Note:** A separate charge file must be uploaded for each agreement you have with a Merchant.

The charge file formatting must follow the [CSV template](../images/ENTITLEMENT_CHARGES_CSPCode_timestamp.csv). The maximum size for the CSV file is 100K. If your data exceeds this limit, you can split it into multiple files for upload.

To upload a charge file, do the following:

1. Open your SFTP application.

2. Connect to Partner Ecosystem Management's SFTP location (that is, the host) via SSH with your username and private key.

3. Upload the charge file to this subfolder: **/entitlement/charge**.

When records are processed successfully, a CSV file containing the transaction reference IDs is generated. The CSV file can be found in this subfolder: **/entitlement/charge/success**.

If any records aren't processed successfully, an error file containing the details is created. You can find the error file in this subfolder: **/entitlement/charge/error**. If there are no errors, an empty error file is created.

**Note:** After the charge file is processed, an archived version can be found here: **/entitlement/charge/archive**.
