# Manage Activation Settings

In **Platform Settings** > **Activation**, you can:

* Create redemption URLs
* Edit redemption URLs
* Delete redemption URLs
* Inform Partner Ecosystem Management that you will generate redemption codes for customers
* Allow Partner Ecosystem Management to generate redemption codes for customers
* Set the expiration time for Partner Ecosystem Management-generated redemption codes
* Show Resellers (Service Providers) if you support pausing and resuming product entitlements

These services are available for Merchants using the [Platform-Managed](managedFlows) product lifecycle.

You can create a default redemption URL for all of your products or different redemption URLs for different products and Resellers (Service Providers).

1. Navigate to **Platform Settings** > **Activation**.

2. Select what you would like to do from the following options:

   * To inform Partner Ecosystem Management that you will generate redemption codes for customers, select **Advanced Activation Settings**.

     The **Advanced Activation Settings** box appears.

     Refer to the table below for guidance regarding the settings. Select **Save**.

     You can now generate redemption codes for customers.

   * To allow Partner Ecosystem Management to generate redemption codes for customers, select **Advanced Activation Settings**.

     The **Advanced Activation Settings** box appears.

     Refer to the table below for guidance regarding the settings. Select **Save**.

     Partner Ecosystem Management will now generate redemption codes for customers.

   * To set the expiration time for Partner Ecosystem Management-generated redemption codes, select **Advanced Activation Settings**.

     The **Advanced Activation Settings** box appears.

     Refer to the table below for guidance regarding the settings. Select **Save**.

     You have successfully set the expiration time for Partner Ecosystem Management-generated redemption codes.

   * To create a redemption URL, select **New Redemption URL**.

     The **New Redemption URL** box appears.

     Complete the fields as required. See the table below for guidance.

     **Note:** If you want Partner Ecosystem Management to generate the redemption code and send the code along with the redemption URL, include "@xxx@" in the redemption URL. For example: **[https://www.example.com/@xxx@/activate](https://www.example.com/@xxx@/activate)**. You must also ensure the **Merchant will provide the redemption code for activation** toggle on the **Activation** page is turned off.

     Select **Create** or **Save**.

     The redemption URL is created or saved and a confirmation message appears.

   * To edit a redemption URL, select the three dot menu at the end of the row of the redemption URL. Select **Edit**.

     The **Edit a Redemption URL** box appears.

     Edit the fields as desired. See the table below for guidance.

     Select **Save**.

     Your changes to the redemption URL have been saved.

   * To delete a redemption URL, select the three dot menu at the end of the row of the redemption URL. Select **Delete**.

     A box appears confirming your choice. Confirm the deletion.

     Select **Delete**.

     The redemption URL has been successfully deleted.

   * To show Resellers (Service Providers) you support pausing and resuming product entitlements, select **Advanced Activation Settings**.

     The **Advanced Activation Settings** box appears.

     Refer to the table below for guidance regarding the settings. Select **Save**.

     Your support for pausing and resuming product entitlements appears on your profile for Resellers to see.

### Advanced Activation Settings

| Field Name | Guidance | Required or Optional |

| **Pause and Resume Setting** | To show Resellers (Service Providers) that you support pausing and resuming product entitlements, toggle **Products support the ability to be paused and resumed** to the right. | Optional |
| **Redemption Code Settings** | To inform Partner Ecosystem Management that you will generate redemption codes for customers, toggle **Merchant will provide the redemption code for activation** to the right. To allow Partner Ecosystem Management to generate redemption codes for customers, toggle this setting to the left. | Optional |
| **Redemption Code Expiration Time** | To set an expiration time for redemption codes, do the following:1. Toggle **Set an expiration time for redemption codes (Platform-managed subscriptions only)** to the right. 2. Select **Set expiration time**. 3. Enter the expiration time in minutes. The maximum number of minutes you can enter is 50,000. | Optional |

### Redemption URL Fields

| Field Name | Guidance | Required or Optional |

| **Product** | From the dropdown list, select one or more products for your redemption URL. | Optional |
| **Reseller** | From the dropdown list, select one or more Resellers (Service Providers) for your redemption URL. | Optional |
| **Redemption URL** | Enter a valid URL for the redemption URL. This is where customers go to redeem product(s) that have been provisioned to them. An example of a valid URL is [https://www.amdocs.com](https://www.amdocs.com). | Optional |
