This section contains sequence flows for the following deployments:- Deployments that leverage MarketONE with Commerce Engine components
- Deployments that leverage external components for subscription management
Customer Purchase of a Merchant Service from a Reseller’s Digital Store Flow (Deployments that Leverage MarketONE With Commerce Engine Component)
In this Platform-Managed subscription sequence flow example, the customer purchases a Merchant service from a Reseller’s (Service Provider’s) digital store, and then puts the charge on their existing bill. The subscription is managed in MarketONE. However, a Reseller can choose how to process the subscription information from MarketONE. Note: The digital store could either be on the Reseller’s website, or on the Reseller’s set-top-box (STB).
Sequence Flow for the Injection of the Subscription Charge (Deployments that Leverage MarketONE With Commerce Engine Component)
As indicated in the sequence flow diagram above, a Reseller (Service Provider) periodically pulls the charge injection file from MarketONE in order to bill the customer. The following sequence flow diagram illustrates this injection of the subscription charge (one time and recurring).

This diagram shows the flow for an integration with an external catalog and billing and order management system. In this sequence flow example, the customer purchases a Merchant service from a Reseller’s (Service Provider) digital store, and then the external billing and ordering system puts the charge on the customer’s existing bill. The subscription is managed in MarketONE using a Platform-Managed flow. However, a Reseller can choose how to process the subscription information from MarketONE.
