Storefront Gateway User eXperience Data Record (UXDR®) is a detailed data record that collects and organizes the details of create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) events on entities. Storefront Gateway feeds UXDR data into UXDR pipelines to different areas of the platform. Merchants can use UXDRs to analyze data and strategically respond in order to drive further engagement or improve service delivery methods. UXDRs provide critical input to a merchant’s business intelligence.

Features

UXDR collects and organizes the details of create, read, update, and delete (CRUD) events on the following entities:
  • User - a unique individual; a digital identity
  • Runtime - a physical endpoint to which services are delivered (for example, mobile device, desktop)
  • Group - a collection of Users
  • Account - a relationship between a User and a merchant
  • Feature - a fine grain entitlement that defines what a User can do
  • Subscription - a collection of packaged features
Storefront Gateway also provides the following to Resellers (Service Providers):
  • UI that details user history actions
  • Daily JSON files containing HTTP trace logs
  • Daily change log of custom data database in JSON format
  • Daily change log of platform database in CSV format

Advantages

  1. Enhanced User Insights: Offers deep insights into user behavior and interaction patterns, enabling data-driven decisions.
  2. Improved Usability: Helps identify and resolve usability issues, leading to a more intuitive and user-friendly experience.
  3. Data-Driven Decisions: Supports design and development decisions with objective evidence of user engagement and behavior.

Use Cases

  1. Website Optimization: Enhances the usability and performance of websites by analyzing user interactions and identifying areas for improvement.
  2. E-commerce: Optimizes the shopping experience by understanding user behavior and reducing drop-offs, leading to higher conversion rates.
  3. Customer Support: Assists support teams in understanding common issues and improving user satisfaction by providing detailed interaction data. Enables customer service agents to help with user requests through the Care console.

Other Considerations

The following points are noteworthy and can be adjusted as per the requirements:
  • Data limit is 2 MB per user on the platform. Storage limit can be extended as per the requirements.
  • Data is stored in hot search (for fast, easy access) for six months, and is then stored in long-term storage. The hot search storage duration can be adjusted as per the requirements.
  • Data in hot search can be frequently consumed for monitoring in near real-time. The frequency of consumption (for example, hourly, daily, weekly, real-time) can be set as per the requirements at the time of onboarding.
  • UXDR Pipelines
  • Data Availability
