User Authentication
Amdocs products are built to keep data secure and compliant and meet Payment Card Industry (PCI) SSAE-18 SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 requirements and ISO 27001 security requirements. Amdocs’s IDP supports all PCI and ISO required security measures such as complex passwords, Multi-Factor Authentication, and the use of unique passwords. It also provides an additional security layer for Amdocs portals, helping to protect against unauthorized access. Optionally, Resellers (Service Providers) can request to use external user authentication via their Identity Provider using OIDC-standards. Support is currently available for OKTA IDP and Microsoft Azure. For more details and requirements, see External User Requirements.Portal User Roles
The Commerce Engine Portal provides access based on user roles and their assigned permissions:- Business Manager and Business Users: Responsible for the Reseller (Service Provider) offering and product catalog. The users can see business-related analytics.
- Customer Service Manager and Representatives: This user interacts directly with the customers and handles customer data. These users can access and edit information regarding the customer account, subscription, and billing details. The user can view the product catalog items but not edit them.
- Super User: The high-level administrator of the Reseller (Service Provider) account. This user has access to all the areas in the Portal. Additionally, this user is responsible for authorized user management using Amdocs’s IDP Care console and contacts Amdocs client technical support to add a user.
- Exception Analyst: This user handles supporting data and may investigate issues and trends. Therefore the user can access and edit customer accounts and transactions. The user can view the product catalog items but not edit them.
