This guide introduces the API functionality delivered by MarketONE for Merchants. An API (Application Programming Interface) is a set of guidelines and protocols that enable different software applications to communicate with each other. The MarketONE APIs allow developers to seamlessly access MarketONE data and interact with the platform.

Who Is MarketONE For?

MarketONE is for Merchant and Reseller (Service Provider) organizations that want to partner to resell or integrate services. Merchant onboarding is a simple process that is performed once. Then, the Merchant organization is available on the platform for partnership requests. After a partnership is made, the Reseller (Service Provider) can send the Merchant agreement requests to resell their products or provide billing as a payment option for their products. You can reach agreements with the numerous Resellers (Service Providers) using the MarketONE platform and in this way expand your reach to hundreds of millions of customers. The MarketONE APIs provide an integration path into the MarketONE platform, which serves as the implementation point for Merchants who provide the service and Resellers (Service Providers) who resell the Merchant’s service(s) through bundling or individual pricing in their storefront. This allows them to work together on a unified platform.

About This Guide

The purpose of this guide is to provide Merchants with information about the MarketONE API interfaces intended for their use. These API interfaces are designed to be integrated to the Merchant’s environment. This guide is primarily for technical audiences familiar with the use of RESTful APIs and webhooks. The APIs primarily referred to in this guide are the MarketONE OpenAPIs and OTT Service Callbacks. This guide is provided as a supplement to these API references and is not intended to replace them. See the original API references to learn the full details of the API calls and OTT service callbacks.

Getting Started

To start making calls to the MarketONE APIs, you need to generate an API key for each Reseller (Service Provider) you’ve partnered with in Partner Ecosystem Management. For more information, see Manage Your API Keys.
