This flow describes how a customer that lost or didn’t receive their redemption code can request another code to activate their subscription. The steps in this flow are:
  1. Browse Inactive Subscriptions
  2. Resend the Redemption Code
Note: The APIs used for integration with Partner Ecosystem Management are the MarketONE APIs. Resending redemption code sequence

1. Browse Inactive Subscriptions

If a redemption code has expired or been lost, the customer can request a new redemption code. In the Reseller’s (Service Provider’s) digital store, the customer views the page containing their inactive subscriptions. The customer sees they have an inactive subscription and requests the redemption code again. Note: Alternatively, Merchants can generate their own redemption code. If the Merchant generates the redemption code, the code will be sent to the MarketONE OpenAPI in the create entitlement request. If the redemption code isn’t included in the call, the transaction will fail. If the redemption code is included in the call, the MarketONE OpenAPI will pass the code on to the Reseller (Service Provider). The Reseller can then send the code to the end customer to activate the subscription. The Reseller calls the MarketONE OpenAPI to generate a new redemption code using POST /partnerSubscription/{id}/reprovision. The MarketONE OpenAPI generates a new redemption code and updates the Partner Subscription with the new code.

2. Resend the Redemption Code

The MarketONE OpenAPI generates a new redemption code. Asynchronously, the MarketONE OpenAPI calls the Merchant and passes the redemption code to update the Partner Subscription. The Merchant updates the Partner Subscription and sends a success response. The MarketONE OpenAPI sends a notification to the Reseller containing the registration link and the new redemption code. The Reseller should then send the user the registration link and the redemption code so the user can complete the activation. Parent topic:Back-End Integration Use Cases
