Step 5: Integrate with the Mock Reseller (Service Provider) in the Production Environment

In this step, our team will set up the following in your production environment:

• Your organization
• Your Admin credentials
• The mock Reseller (Service Provider), who will:
  • Send you a partnership request
  • Send you an agreement to accept.

Your Configuration Tasks in Production

Complete the following tasks:

• Log in using your production credentials
• Manage your organization profile
• Add a team member (optional)
• Create product groups (Platform-managed product lifecycle only)
• Create products (Platform-managed product lifecycle only)
• Accept the partnership request from the mock Reseller
• Approve the agreement from the mock Reseller
• Generate an API key to connect with the mock Reseller
• Set up webhooks to receive event notifications (Platform-managed product lifecycle only) Note: Set up the Add Subscription and Delete Subscription webhooks at minimum. The endpoint URLs you enter for the webhooks should be from the production environment.
• Add redemption URL(s) for subscription activation (Platform-managed product lifecycle only) Note: The redemption URL(s) you enter should be from the production environment.
• Add a health check endpoint to conduct a sanity test (Platform-managed product lifecycle only)
• Complete the Reconciliation process (Platform-managed product lifecycle only) Note: The SFTP location you connect to should point to the mock Reseller in the production environment.
• Upload assets (Platform-managed product lifecycle only)

After completing these configuration tasks, you’ll work with our team to complete validation tasks in the production environment. Note: The validation process in Step 5 is different from Step 2. Postman-based validation is not required at this stage. Once validation is complete, you’ll be ready to proceed to Step 6, where you’ll begin integrating with a real Reseller.
